Currently in society, hunting is a controversial issue that brings negative affects. Hunting is an unsafe activity even though critics will argue hunting courses and educated books makes hunting safe. Hunting causes animal extinction, but many individuals will argue that hunting laws and acts are passed to limit the low populated species. Hunting is done for the wrong reasons, for things like game/trophy hunting. Even though game hunting is happening more and more, society counters this statement and argues that a man's instinct is to hunt and that hunting is a sport just like any other sport. Hunting is also an activity that is performed for the wrong reasons. Hunting is performed to make money or to collect the high valued parts off of the animal. Although poaching is regularly done, people argue that animals are not killed for the money, but for survival reasons instead. Finally, hunting is a type of animal cruelty. Even though critics will argue that hunting is still performed to survive, hunting is cruelty to all animal species. Altogether, hunting causes multiple negative impacts on not only the animals, but on habitats and the economy as well.
